Phrases like feeling “triggered” or “unsafe” get thrown around a lot in leadership, marketing, and coaching conversations. We assume feeling triggered is an inherently bad experience, which often leaves us feeling frustrated and anxious, not knowing exactly how to think about or handle these instances.

While we can’t choose what people say or do to us, we do have a choice in how we respond. If you’re here to grow, evolve, and create new things, intentionally practicing feeling activated and deciding guidelines for what you are or aren’t available for is the way forward.

Join me this week to discover why feeling triggered is not inherently malevolent, but rather an invitation from the universe to practice being who you want to be. You’ll hear what a lack of safety really means, what’s happening when you feel triggered, and three things you can do to expand your nervous system capacity when you identify a trigger.
