In the name of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, I’m celebrating by sharing some things that I’ve gotten wrong about accessibility in my business. I realized I was operating by some assumptions about accessibility that had me oblivious about disabilities, and I’m sharing them with you in case you’re having the same thoughts.

My business is nowhere close to perfect, but it has become incrementally more accessible over time once I addressed what kept me procrastinating on it. Whether accessibility isn’t something you’ve ever considered in your business, you’re scared you’ll get it wrong, or you think there’s no need for it, you need to listen in.

Join me this week to discover how you can truly enjoy yourself as you pursue and learn more about accessibility, and why doing so allows you to have a much greater impact over the span of your life. I’m sharing what I’ve gotten wrong, what I’ve gotten right, and some simple action steps you can begin implementing for sustainable accessibility.

"Accessibility is the foot in the door. Accessibility leads to an ability to feel belonging. Belonging leads to inclusion." -- Sassy Outwater-Wright
