If you’re committed to growing in your business and activism, especially in public, dealing with haters is a real challenge you’ll contend with. The bigger your voice and impact, the more hate you’ll inevitably get, and I believe this is actually a great thing.

While having haters ultimately means you’re using your voice in a meaningful way, it’s important to consider that not all haters are created equal. Categorizing anyone who might be unpleasant to interact with as a “hater” can be reductive and can limit your opportunities for growth, and that’s why I’m distinguishing between four different types of haters you might encounter as you continue to take up more space in the world.

Listen in this week to discover what it means if you’re receiving hate, and why I believe having haters is a sign that you’re challenging the status quo. I’m outlining the different types of haters you might be confronted with, questions to ask yourself if you’re struggling to distinguish between hate and constructive feedback, and a practice for expanding your self-advocacy.

If you’re looking for a one-stop shop to find the best of my teachings organized into a beautiful actionable sequence, I got you. I took the best of my episodes and created a whole damn workbook around them: The Simone Starter Pack. It’s the ultimate marketing cheat sheet. What are you waiting for? Grab it now!
