You are invited to…

TOGETHER: LIVE in Detroit!

Hey.

You know that feeling when…

  • You read about yet another bomb dropped on civilians and think, “At this point, we should just cancel humanity and start over”?

  • You try to work on your business and think, “How could any of this possibly matter… when this country is sliding into full-on literal fascism?”

  • You try to stop doomscrolling, and muster the energy to be part of the solution… but your chronic illness, rising rent, and family responsibilities make you feel exhausted before you even begin?

This is being alive in 2025.

And it’s… a lot.

So what do we even do?

How can we care for others when it feels like we can barely care for ourselves sometimes?

How can we dream of a better future and work toward it… when so many of our neighbors are just scrambling to survive?

How do you pour energy into your business when the world is on fire?

Here’s what I want you to know.

You’re not alone in feeling this way. You’re not asking too much of the world. And the questions you’re asking matter.

But you CANNOT fix the world alone.

No matter how gifted, passionate and committed you are, there is only so much one person can do.

But you know what CAN make a difference? The kind of difference that ripples out to change lives of people you’ve never even met… and impacts future generations…?

→ No individual alone. Not you. Not me. Not even the Dalai Lama, or Michelle Obama, or Greta, or Beyonce.

→ But all of us. Together.

By the way, nature already knows how to do this.

Did you know that, when you see a mushroom pop, you’re only seeing the tip of the iceberg?

Underground, there’s this super cool thing called the mycelium network (a.k.a. mushroom roots), which connects countless tree roots throughout vast distances of the forest.

And here’s what this invisible network does: it transfers nutrients and water between plants. A large, established tree shares resources with younger saplings. A healthy tree supports a sick one. Trees send chemical signals through the network to warn each other about threats — like an early warning system that helps the whole forest prepare its defenses.

It's essentially a MUTUAL AID SYSTEM for the forest (!)

And because the network connects all kinds of different species of of plants, it allows them to benefit from each other's strengths... and compensate for each other's weaknesses.

Forests don’t thrive because of ONE singularly successful species. They thrive because of this web of connection.

This is the only way anything heals and regenerates.

Right now, in 2025, it's almost impossible to imagine a world that is just, safe, and nourishing for EVERYONE. But forests have been doing this for millions of years — taking degraded soil, polluted air, and damaged ecosystems and slowly, through these underground networks of care, bringing them back to life.

We are the mycelium.

Our connections — the web between us — are how we'll not just survive what's coming, but maybe build something even better from the wreckage. A world where everyone belongs, is free, and is able to thrive.

TOGETHER: LIVE in Detroit! is where we tend these networks… where we practice being the underground system that feeds what's trying to grow.

You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time.
— Angela Davis

To find our way out of this mess, we need to take radical action. Every damn day. Not just when it’s easy, popular, or convenient.

What do I mean by radical action? I’m talking about things like:

  • Saying the thing everyone's thinking — but nobody dares to speak

  • Choosing people over profit — even when it costs you real money

  • Refusing positions of power when you’d be perpetuating overrepresentation of your group

  • Divesting from anything that profits off suffering

These are just examples, by the way. What’s radical for you might be the total opposite of what’s radical for someone else! And that’s a good thing, because it means we all bring different stories, perspectives, and strengths to the table. Our diversity is a source of strength and possibility.

So, depending on your circumstances, radical action that’s right for YOU might look like:

  • Asking for help when you've always been the one helping others

  • Allowing yourself to rest without having to “earn it”

  • Charging what you're actually worth instead of undervaluing yourself

  • Going no contact with abusive family members instead of staying in relationships out of calcified guilt

Your plan for Radical Action is as individual as your fingerprints.

There's such immense relief in releasing yourself from trying to follow someone else's idea of “radical action”(like, whatever the latest TikTok “thought leader” is telling you) — and orienting yourself in your specific skills, your position in society, and works with your real life circumstances.

  • Is your way of reducing suffering in the world NOT starting a nonprofit… but making people feel seen in a way that dissolves trauma?

  • Is your gift is NOT in organizing protests… but creating art that helps people process grief?

  • Is your version of fighting systems NOT confrontation… but quietly building the alternative while everyone else is still arguing about what's broken?

See what I mean?

At this moment in history, figuring out YOUR unique Radical Action Plan isn't just helpful. It's ESSENTIAL.

This is the difference between wasting the next ten years trying to fit into movements that don't need you, burning yourself out in the process… and stepping into the role that you were actually designed for.

And be real with me. When's the last time you went to a training of any kind, and someone asked about YOUR specific situation, YOUR actual strengths, YOUR real constraints — and then built a plan around those? Instead of handing you the same worksheet everyone else gets?

Well, that’s what’s happening in TOGETHER: LIVE in Detroit!

🌟 MEGA-IMPORTANT: This retreat is a no-shaming + no-preachiness zone.

Because, gross.

We’re NOT into prescribing what you should believe in or what you should do. Ever.

(Actually, if you’re into judging, lecturing, or moralizing… please don’t come. This event is not for you.)

But we will help you articulate what values is meaningful and important for YOU… and take action in a way that works for YOU and YOU ALONE.

That said, here’s something that almost everyone misses: you can’t take consistent radical action if you’re running on fumes.

Because the movements you care about?

(1) They need you FUNDED — so you can give, share, and show up without scrambling to survive.

(2) They need you HEALED. I don’t mean “perfectly healed” (whatever that means). I’m talking about being self-aware enough of your own wounds that you're not trying to “save the world” as a way to avoid working on yourself.

(3) They need you NOURISHED, emotionally, physically, spiritually, relationally — so you can give from genuine overflow instead of depletion.

And when you’re FUNDED, HEALED, and NOURISHED? Guess what happens.

You become a One-Person Resistance Army.

(psst….. I hear fascists HATE that.)

You can’t wring your hands and roll up your sleeves at the same time.
— Pat Schroeder

The world is on fire. There’s no time to waste. So, let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work. Here's what we're going to create TOGETHER over two focused days. :

Day 1: Your Personal “Resistance Training”

  • Understand why you — yes, exactly as you are, RIGHT THIS SECOND — are irreplaceable to the work that the world needs right now. Not the version of you that’s healed all your traumas and got your inbox to zero and smoothed out all your weird personality quirks. But who you are NOOOOOOW.

  • Get crystal clear on what’s actually yours to carry — and what isn’t. No more guilt about not doing it all. No more martyring yourself to step up to roles that aren’t even yours.

  • Create a Radical Action plan for business AND service that's as unique as your fingerprints, energizes you instead of exhausting you, and is strategically aimed at the exact places where YOU can make the biggest difference.

  • Learn to become the version of you that's fully resourced — and I'm talking in mind, spirit, AND bank account.

Day 2: Weaponizing Your Business for Good

  • Learn how to market like you’re building a good-for-the-world movement — and sell like you’re actually taking care of people. (Yes, it’s possible. And it’s necessary.)

  • Figure out a pricing strategy that (1) pays you well, (2) serves everyone in your community, and (3) allows you to sustain the work. (YES, ALL THREE ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE!)

  • Build your ecosystem of support — collaborators, clients, co-conspirators. Then, develop your strategy for staying plugged into the “mycelium network.” THIS IS WHERE WE BREAK UP WITH ISOLATION!

  • For newbie entrepreneurs: learn the strategy for building your business from DAY ONE to reflect your politics, your purpose, and the world you're here to help create.

  • For seasoned pros: good news! You don’t have to burn it all down. Strategize on how to use the platform (that you’ve worked so hard to build!) to finally align your business with your deepest values.

At the end of the two days, here’s what you’ll walk out with:

✅ A clear-headed and peaceful readiness to get to work — knowing that you’re setting yourself up for sustainable momentum, not another crash-and-burn cycle.

✅ The plan AND mindset you need to get yourself beautifully resourced in every way that matters.

✅ An army of new friends, supporters, and co-conspirators that stay with you, even after the retreat ends.

✅ The sweet relief of hope that actually holds you — not the fragile, spiritually-bypassing kind that crumbles under pressure. I’m talking about deeply-rooted, muscular, radical hope that comes from knowing your exact power and place… in the bigger story of all of us getting free.

Let’s talk specifics. Here’s what’s included in the retreat:

✨ Two full days with Simone in downtown Detroit - 10 AM to 4 PM each day (Thursday, August 21 & Friday, August 22, 2025)

✨ Thoughtfully designed materials and pragmatic frameworks you’ll actually use after the retreat

✨ Real connection with new friends who will become your biggest cheerleaders, collaborators, and referral partners

Where we’ll be:

The heart of downtown Detroit. A space with floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed brick, and natural light flooding through. (Mmmmmmm……)

You’ll be walking distance from beautiful hotels, incredible restaurants, and the Detroit riverfront — everything you need to feel well cared for during your time with us. And if you want to get some of that famous Detroit-style pizza with me? Hell yes, I’m game. 🤩

Historic, central, meaningful, convenient — check, check, check, and CHECK.

“But wait, that’s not all!” (Wait for it…)

Ever leave a great event, and think, “Man, I wish this weren’t ending!”?

Well, this one doesn’t have to! 😍

When you join us in Detroit, you also get free access to the online version of the retreat ($100 value), which starts September 10 and runs live for two weeks.

Come home, let everything settle for several weeks, then — if you’d like — continue the work with deeper exploration in an online community. This is absolutely perfect for asking those follow-up questions, developing insights that emerged after Detroit, and getting implementation support!

PRICE: $500

Hey, by the way…

This is my first live event of this kind. But if you’ve been in my world a while, you might have noticed that, when I open up a new course, there’s often… kind of a… stampede.

We’ve only got 100 seats. Like, our venue physically can only hold that many people. And I expect them to go fast.

That said — PLEASE do not rush yourself or make decisions from FOMO. But if you’re genuinely feeling called to join us, I encourage you to register sooner rather than later.

Important logistical notes:

  • Transportation to Detroit, lodging, and meals are not included. We’ll provide recommendations for local accommodations and restaurants.

  • Once you register, you’ll get access to a private Facebook group where you can meet other participants ahead of time and coordinate shared lodging or transportation.

Okay, why Detroit though?

Glad you asked!

So I’m like… extremely NOT from the Midwest.

However, Detroit has always had a special place in my heart. Some of my closest friends are from there. And every time I’ve visited, I could feel that there was something special about the place.

Sure, Detroit isn't the kind of city that makes it onto luxury retreat Instagram feeds. But even with the rough edges, I could just sense that this city knows things about resilience, care, community, and regeneration… that, frankly, all the rest of us need to learn.

And at some point, it clicked with me exactly why I want to hold the retreat here:

Detroit is the perfect setting for those who want to learn how to create opportunity, ingenuity, and beauty in things that others might have dismissed as broken.

(Plus, there’s some incredible food. Just saying.)

So, that’s the story. Detroit chose us as much as we chose Detroit.

And I’ll see you there.

Ahoy! You’re also invited to the TOGETHER: Online Retreat 2025!

Can’t make it to Detroit?

Maybe the cost doesn’t work for you right now. Or you can’t travel to the US. Or the Detroit seats are already sold out. Whatever the reason, I’ve got you covered.

There’s also an onilne version of this retreat, and you can join us from anywhere… and work at any pace you want, with my personalized guidance!

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this live retreat for?

This is for conscious entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers who want their work to contribute to a more just world. You might be someone who’s built a successful business but feels disconnected from your original purpose, or you’re newer to entrepreneurship but committed to doing business differently. You don’t need to identify as an activist — just someone who cares about using your work as a force for good.

Can I attend only part of the live retreat?

No, the retreat is designed as a complete experience over two days, and the work builds on itself. It is best to attend the full two days to ensure you and the group get the maximum benefit from the experience.

I am an introvert/neurodivergent! Will I belong?

Yes! We believe you’ll find yourself in a thoughtful gathering that honors different ways of being present and participating. This is NOT a high-energy extrovert marathon!

You’ll have opportunities for both group work and quiet reflection, with regular breaks and space to engage in ways that feel good to you — whether that means sharing with the whole group, connecting one-on-one over coffee in a quiet corner, or taking time alone when you need it.

I have concerns about traveling right now given recent political changes. Should I be worried?

I understand these concerns completely. Please know that Detroit is a welcoming, diverse city with a long history of social justice activism. The retreat space and surrounding area are in a vibrant and safe part of downtown.

That said, only you can decide what feels safe for your specific situation. If travel feels too risky, the online retreat option ensures you can still access this work from honme.

When should I arrive in Detroit? Do I need to be there the night before?

The retreat starts at 10 am on Thursday, August 21st, so you’ll want to arrive Wednesday evening. At the absolute latest, early Thursday morning. We’ll send specific venue details and logistics closer to the event.

Will you provide hotel recommendations? Any group discounts?

We’ll share a list of recommended hotels at different price points, all within walking distance or a short ride from the venue. However, we do not have arrangements with any hotels for group discounts.

Are there opportunities to connect with other attendees before the live retreat?

Yes! Once you register, you’ll get access to our private Facebook group where you can introduce yourself, coordinate shared transportation or lodging, and start building connections.

What’s your refund policy?

All sales are final — we can’t offer refunds. However, if something comes up and you’re not able to attend, you’ll still have access to the online version of the retreat.

I’m not sure I can afford this right now. Do you have any other options, like payment plans or scholarships?

If cost is a barrier, the online retreat might be a better fit right now. Click here to learn more about the online retreat.

I don’t have a credit card. Can I pay using PayPal or something else?

Unfortunately, we can’t accept PayPal. We do accept Zelle, Wise, and bank transfers, in addition to debit and credit cards. If you would like information for any of those options, please contact us at support@simonegraceseol.com.
